Promissed Land

My father have never seen sea! No, never ever. Once upon a time he decided to go and visit It. Packed his stuff, took a train, and headed to see a sea. Half a way there, he stopped to visit some friends in a town which had really, no, no, no - you don't get it - really-really good library. So, after few days spent in that town, he additionally spent all of his money on books! Good bye, other half of the trip! Good bye, dear sea!

[subtitle: lot years later]

When it was mentioned on a choir for the first time, it sounded like Promissed Land to me. Like I've waited for it all these years. Like it is the best thing to share with other, like it is a crown on a head, like a strawberry on a cake. Varna. One And Only :) Just think about it - singing on one of the hardest choir-festivals around, enjoying the sea, staying there few more days (idea presented to me by s.I. - idea heartfully accepted), travelling by bus all the way there and back (who said we sould never use Tedonal for our knees), crossing two country-boundries (hm, should we called these 'ours'!?), maybe even pushing bus a little bit to the nearest gas-station (some ice, mud and storm if possible, please!), visiting all those places you can see only up there, photos, guitars, tears, ... Wouldn't you want to visit it? Wouldn't you want that we go together there?

We still don' know... Is Promissed Land just Land Of Dreams or is it our Land Of Destiny?

One Pack Of Inspiration, Please!

I'm back :-)

After a month not knowing what clever to say, after a month scratching my head, trying to dig out some nice idea to write about, or trying find (somehow lost) writing inspiration... Here it is! Just another few thoughts.

But... How it came to this? What pulled that trigger in my head? What made me decide to sit and put all of it down? In the end, what gave me an inspiratio for writing?

I'll tell you. I've been trying for all the month to find that secret point in myself somehow. Digging, breaking stones, diving into deep oceans, walking up the highest mountains, being lost for thousand times in dark woods... No, nothing! My good friends also tried everything in their power - encouraging me, telling me they regulary chek out my blog, pushing on me, and all the other ways - still nothing. I even started to read book "Creative Writing". Still nothing. And then...

Yesterday evening, after fully working five days, I put some music I always love to listen to, laid on my bad, relaxed myself, and try to feel every single grain of that, never really understood by myself, mystery called music. And suddenly, without any warning, without even a sign of it, it came to me! Someshow, all those dark clouds simply went away, I saw my path, and there was nothing to stop me do this!

So, I'll let myself being old-stylish lame, and say: Open your hearth, Free your mind, and Enjoy whatever you really like!

Sheki's On The Road Again

The glorious day came! The second official Eipix trip. Again, to Belgrade! This time, with no obligations, with no pressure (oh, well, almost no pressure:)), we simply went to celebrate Sickmind's birthday.

After little racing with time in Novi Sad, guys were in their places ready to RnR: Mirko aka M (our main driver in the absence of The-One-And-Only), Nenenenad aka N (the best basket-player), Shatzy aka S (Partybreaker - "Mi ne idemo nikud i ne radimo nista..." ("We don't go anywhere, we don't do a thing...") and Alexione aka A (Dancing Queen).

So, how to start the trip? Thanks to N's idea and M's fast CD-writer, we had what we had wanted - Michael Bubble! "Moondance", "Spider-Man", "When You're Smiling", "Can't Buy Me Love", "Feeling Good", etc, etc. That's it - good mood, good music, good car, good road, good ... rrrr, well not that good road, but good enough!

It all started well. Almost an hour of good trip. And then, we arrived. Then, it all started - hell called Belgrade! Bzillion questions - Where? How? Why? Really? What @#$@#? Including all the nasty words which came up!

But, hey! We are the mighty boys from Novi Sad - and we shew it to them!! Yeah, on one cross, we were, as all others, waiting for the green light. Suddenly, cars from the opposite side started moving. So we did. We also started. And then - a guy from the opposite side almost hit us. He laid on his horn (and probably said few ... specially chosen ... words about "those from the North"). We were just looking at him (what is wrong with this guy???!!!). And then, the only of us who know the difference between Red and Green, as well as difference between Top and Bottom - S (Shatzy) - dead-coldly said "We went through the red light". Turning around, we noticed that all the other were waiting for the approval of that stupid machine to cross, and keep driving.

We did it - our first traffic violation! Here we are, dear Belgrade! Show us yourself!

Doing It In Strange Places

What is the strangest place and situaction where you did it?

In her room with her friend while her roommate was looking and listening?
Accompanied with a bottle of Stock to celebrate success? Feeling look
of her boyfriend on yourself all the time while your were doing it?
Have you ever did it with a guy?

Well, yesterday, I did it with a friend of mine in the middle of Bistro
(well-known local inn). We met on Miletic square and went there.
After we took off our clothes and ordered something to drink (cooked
wine, actually), exchanging several sentences, we jumped on it. She
took it out on a table and then we started!

Step by step, by the book. One step at a time. Oh, and it wasn't easy. She didn't even tried to make it easy! That's what I like -
a challange. She sucked out every drop of blood from me. Huh, it was
really hard! But I don't regret it. It worthed it! We stood there till
about midnight, drinking wine, enjoying in each other's company.
Really nice evening!

Sincerly, this was one of the strangest places where I was teaching
someone about programming!

Attention! Dogs Attack!

It was just an ordinary evening yesterday. Finished singing on choir, I was in a good mood. Having to wait more than hour for my bus, I decided to go for a walk with a friend of mine. Somewhere around, near Danube. And it all started well...

But, since I led the way we were working, after few minutes we hit fence which could be jumped over. Hm, what to do now!? Going back? Nooo, there must be a way. And there was. Thick hole between fence and a barrack standing there. Just enough that you scrape through. My friend managed to do it easily. She passed pretty slightly. But, I had to take off my jacked, and... huh! it was reeeealy close. Fence passed!

Walk continues. Evening. Lights. Several passangers. Danube. Hm, sounds like a romantic evening? No, it wasn't! Not at all. That little stupid, shaggy dog ruined everything! At one moment he was happily jumping behind us. Hey, he wanted to play. At least I thought so. Raised a hand "De si, gari!" ("What's up, dude!")

Suddenly, without any warning (later I was thought of some signs that should have told me that he didn't want to play with me), stupid dog jumped and bite my hand! Feeling his teeth and wet tongue on my wrist was.... at least surprising. I managed to pull out my hand from his mouth, and only my friend stopped me from hitting that dog in head. ARGHUGH!

Angry, hurt, humiliated, bitten by monster several times smaller than I am, the only thing I could do is turn around and went to the bus. Stupid dog. Sniffy dog. Miserable dog. Ugh, I almost wanted to kill all the dogs! But, hey, not all dogs are that stupid! Some of them think before they bite you! Some of them even respect you!

What else to say except one more thing to my friend: THANX :)
